Makeup
A Basic make up kit is needed for every actor. Lori can color match you! She has all the colors in her head and is an expert. Or you can just match yourself. If you have a kit from before you can just use that.

Undergarments
Males, please wear bike shorts/jammer/long black boxer briefs and females please wear a skin-colored onesie/Leotard for your undergarments. These items are meant to protect students during costume fittings, changes and to keep the fit of the costume consistent. Students will be able to use these undergarments for every future production.
Here are a few examples:
These examples all work but other options can be found at other stores.
Footwear
All students must have appropriate dance shoes. These can be purchased locally at places like Petticoat Junction in Lynnwood or online at websites like www.discountdance.com. Whichever option works best for you. Sometimes trying them on in person and then ordering online works best. The sooner the students have the shoes to practice in the better. These are standard shoes that students will be able to use over and over again in future performances.
If you are in need of financial assistance/support for this, please let me know so that we can support you. We do have some loaner shoes for who ever needs them.

Character Shoes Without Heels (for male or neutral presenting characters): These should be purchased in black
Budget Option: Black men's dress shoes that are very basic will also do in a pinch. Try to make sure there is little "grip" on the bottom of the shoes.
Jazz Shoes: These should be purchased in black and have a variety of uses for show and for rehearsals. There are a variety of options for this but the preferred is:
Note:
It's important to have the appropriate undergarments and dance shoes at school for costume fittings during rehearsals and work parties. Drama lockers are available just outside the Black Box. To check one out for the year please come see me or talk to our Thespian Board clerk.
We understand that these items can be expensive, especially with everything else this time of year. If purchasing either undergarments or shoes will be a hardship for your family, please talk to Lori or Ms. Glass and we will get you covered. We do not want this requirement to be a hinderance or stress to your performance or participating in Drama.
